Refund policy

At MythScripts, we take pride in restoring ancient myths into high-quality acting editions. Please review our policy below regarding digital downloads, physical book returns, and damaged orders.

1. Digital Acting Editions (PDF Downloads)

Due to the immediate access and irrecoverable nature of digital media:

  • All sales of digital scripts (PDFs) and electronic acting editions are final and non-refundable.
  • Once a digital purchase is completed and a download link has been generated or accessed, we cannot process a cancellation, exchange, or refund.
  • Technical Support: If you experience any technical difficulties downloading, opening, or reading your file, please contact info@mythscripts.com with your order number. We will gladly re-issue a working download link or supply a fresh file.

2. Physical Print Editions (Paperback Scripts & Cast Sets)

We want you to be completely satisfied with your physical acting editions. If you change your mind about a physical book order, you may request a return within 30 days of delivery.

Eligibility Requirements for Returns:

  • Timeframe: Return requests must be initiated within 30 days of the date your order was marked delivered.
  • Condition: Books must be in new, unread, and undamaged condition—free of highlighting, rehearsal notes, bent spines, cracked covers, or water damage.
  • Proof of Purchase: An original order number or receipt is required.

Return Shipping & Restocking:

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot issue refunds for items lost in transit.
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

If your physical script arrives damaged from shipping, misprinted, or defective in any way: 

  1. Contact info@mythscripts.com within 7 days of receiving your package.
  2. Include your order number and clear photos showing the damage or printing defect.
  3. We will promptly ship a replacement copy at no additional cost to you, or issue a full refund if a replacement is unavailable.

4. Performance Licensing Fees & Royalties

  • Licensing fees and royalty payments are non-refundable once a Performance License Agreement has been executed and performance dates have been reserved.
  • If a scheduled production is postponed or canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact info@mythscripts.com immediately to discuss transferring your license to future dates.

5. How to Initiate a Return

To request a return for an eligible physical book:

  1. Email info@mythscripts.com with the subject line: Return Request - Order #[Your Order Number].
  2. State the item(s) you wish to return and the reason for the return.
  3. Once approved, our team will provide return mailing instructions.
  4. Refunds are credited back to your original payment method within 5–7 business days after we inspect and receive the returned merchandise.
