MythScripts is a boutique publishing imprint and dramatic restoration project dedicated to bridging the gap between the library and the stage by adapting ancient myths into easy-to-perform plays for today's entertainers, educators, and ritualists.

It all started with a realization.

As a screenwriter by day and a mythology student by night, my desk was always cluttered with two things: scripts and myths. That's when it hit me—for the ancients, myth wasn't a book. It was a script.

Myths are the oldest, most enduring dramas we have. For most of human history, they were spoken, sung, and performed as oral traditions. Yet today, most myths are trapped in textbooks. 

I created MythScripts to pull myths off the shelf and put them back where they belong—on your stage. Wherever it is.

Every MythScript is adapted directly from primary sources, easy for anyone to perform, and delivered in beautiful, professionally formatted acting editions.
